This is his only means of transportation and seeing how Coco is family to many of us here in town, it needs to be returned. Back in August Ronnie drug me out to California for the Nemesis Project Summer Tour. We saw some of the west coast and rode Yosemite, over all it was the time of my life. Brad at NemPro ended up offering me a frame and some hubs to ride and I gladly accepted.

This is by far the nicest bike I have ever owned. She weighs in a little over 25lbs (with no weight wienie parts) and I couldnt be happier with the build.

Bicycle Film Festival Comes to Miami March 17-20
BFF is Proud to Announce The 1st Ever La Noche Miami Criterium Race

March 17- La Noche Criterium Race, presented by Bicycle Film Festival and brought to you by A LATE NIGHT SNACK. This is the first time BFF will hold a criterium race in the city of Miami! Historically, criterium races are held in urban settings and are known for their competitive high speeds and skillful turns. The courses consist of short laps, which offers people the chance to watch the race, making it extremely spectator-friendly. La Noche Crit will be no exception.

The unsanctioned race will take place at night on a four-cornered flat course, in the dark and empty streets of Miami’s revitalized Wynwood Arts Distict .The event will consist of two races, one fixed and one geared. Track bikes are mandatory for the fixed race, no brakes.

Prizes are 3 deep for each race, as well as 1st Place prize for top female of each race. Prizes from sponsors will include premium Italian handbuilt bicycle frames from DODICI, wheelsets from Mavic+Origin 8, San Marco Saddles, as well as prizes from Rapha, and local bike shop Scoot Skate and Bike.

Open registration will be held on March 17, at O Cinema (90 NW 29 Street) from 5:30pm- 7:15pm, space permitting. After Party and Awards Ceremony will be held at BAR Black located at 28 NE 14th St. Pre-registration and more information at Bikereg.com. Keyword: La Noche Miami. After the race, the Bicycle Film Festival continues for 3 consecutive days of bike rides, parties and films! This year the BFF will screen all of its incredible bike movies at O Cinema March 18-19.

BICYCLE FILM FESTIVAL: CALL FOR ENTRIES

Submission Deadline: April 1

Submissions are now open for the Eleventh Annual Bicycle Film
Festival! The BFF is looking for films with a bike-related theme. Any
style is acceptable: animation, experimental, narrative, documentary
and music videos are all a go.

There is no fee to enter your film, simply download a submission form
from the BFF website, and send a copy of the film to the BFF Head
Office in New York.

The Bicycle Film Festival began in 2001 when Brendt Barbur, founding
director of the festival was hit by a bus while riding his bike in New
York City. He insisted on turning his negative experience into a
positive one. The Bicycle Film Festival is a platform to celebrate
the bicycle through music, art and, of course, film.

The BFF travels to over 25 cities around the world, including Paris,
London, Tokyo, New York -- and Sydney. Last year, more than 225,000
people attended the festival. The BFF is not only a showcase for new
films, but also, includes rock shows, street parties, art shows,
dinners, bike rides and more!

The BFF over the past ten years is proud to be a platform for exposure
for many independent filmmakers and artists, and to show a range of
emerging filmmakers to established artists, including Albert Maysles,
Spike Jonze, Mike Mills, The Neistat Brothers, Michel Gondry, and Tom
Sachs.
