am I the only one who doesn't see what's so good about this video? for starters, they didn't land anything. and the slow motion was so stretched out to the point it just became annoying. honestly, this thing was 30 seconds too long, just saying.
while it might not be so "cool" with the tricks, you should take time to enjoy the slow motion/HD aspect of it. dont be sp critical, its a short edit that someone nice enough in savannah took the time to put together.
fair enough but keep this in mind, your entitled to your opinions and I'm entitled to mine. and my opinion is i dont like it for the reasons I mentioned.
are you guys always this sensitive when someone doesn't agree with y'all?
No. Because if we were, I wouldn't be approving your comments... :)
BTW anonymous, the video may not be all that but it has it's charm. Overall I like it but I can also see where you are coming from with some of your comments. I'm not the guy who did the edit so I cant speak for him but I think the intent of this thing is not to "WOW" people but rather something to enjoy visually. Just my 2 cents...
My only piece of feedback is that I don't like the filter he ran on it. I know this is going to come off all nit picky and shit, but the filter doesn't really go with the aesthetic being created in the edit IMO. From a visual standpoint, why run a noise / aged film filter over HD footage? One of the things I like about HD is how crisp and clear it is, why make it look aged? The end result to me is that it looks like HD footage with a filter on it. Maybe if the footage had more visual noise in it so it doesn't look so crisp? Its subtle but it just doesn't work in this case. I personally would have worked on the color of the footage because the lighting is perfect. Again this is just my opinion, take it for what it is... :)
Damn i feel like pwople are bashing me,all i did was found another vid of me on the web....where's yours? i loved the vid, loved the music and overall look. it was windy as shit that day,and i didnt even know i was being filmed. he was using a nikon d90 DSLR camera..i was amazed how good a photo camera could take video. but i also i will make sure im landing all of my tricks for future edits.
