how dumb does someone have to be to steal road bike in orlando? with a relatively small tight group of people who ride why would someone think that they wouldnt be seen or caught riding stolen shit?
its not always the people you see riding around etc. Folks in the business of stealing and re-selling are catching on to the popularity of road/fixed gear parts etc. and the fact that they will sell quickly on places like craigslist. my roadbike was stolen in chicago and i found it on craigslist. the seller was this weird old man i think. Having a brakeless/fixed ride used to be a pro due to it being a bitch to steal if you've never ridden one, now its kinda turned into a con.
Was this bike stolen from inside the shop?
