In case you have been living under a rock for the better part of 09, Call To Cranks is going down this weekend. I know a good sized group from Orlando is down there, be safe and have fun! I want to hear about all the shenanigans once you guys get back. There is also a Death Pedal Showing tonight as well so in case you missed it last night, here's your opportunity to check it out...

For those of you in town tonight, make sure you check this out. It's going down at Bold Hype and some of the feedback I've heard regarding the the work is really good. So if you have nothing going on tonight, hit it up!
And lastly, based on a few questions I got last night I need to address the lag in comments showing up on the blog. Due to a troll that fears things he can't quite understand, I've had to enable the moderate comments function on the blog. This is the first time in our almost 2 years of being in existence that we have had to do this. We have always operated under the concept of unlimited free speech and would let anyone comment at will. But because of this asshole, we now have had to institute this functionality in order to make sure the prejudices of this person don't spoil the user experience. In essence, you can still comment anonymously, but the rub is that I (or one of the other contributors) will have to approve the comments before they show up on the blog. So what's the guideline you may ask?
The guideline is simple really; post an intelligent comment and it gets approved. Post something hateful, racist, homophobic or sexist and it gets denied.
Dont get it twisted, you don't have to kiss our collective ass and agree with everything we say; differing points of view are always welcome here. But if you resort to the kind of behavior most middle school kids use in order to articulate a point then your diatribe gets no play. Again, this decision was forced upon us by the actions of one particular ass-hat and his inability to come to terms with things he doesn't quite understand. The funny things is I now know who he is and he doesn't even come close to representing the scene he claims to be a part of. It's just a pathetic attempt to force his prejudices on everyone while trying to start some drama where none exists. I'm extremely tempted to "out" his stupid ass but instead, I'm going to take the high road and let him wallow in his own ignorance. Just bear with us as there will now be a small lag from when you post your comment to when they actually appear...
Ride hard, live life and enjoy the weekend!

i will no longer argue with you but will question how you know what i represent?? i claimed no ties to anything... you may have tracked my blog and found my name? but what do you know of the "scene" i claimed to be a part of. i didnt mention anyone other than myself, i didnt drag any single person, scene, or group of people into anything.
i wont comment on this blog going forward if it is going to create so much unwanted drama but in my defense, i did not force any prejudices on anyone, i offered my opinion and point of view as a comment... and i definitely did not go on the this site and go as far as calling anyone here an "ass hole", "ass hat", or "stupid ass"
i wallow in no ignorance, maybe sit stuck in a situation of my own misunderstanding but not ignorance.
very eloquent but I'm not talking about you (unless you have some kind of online schizophrenia). I'm talking about the guy who keeps posting all the stupid shit on here. He has called us everything from "tight pants wearing hipster fags" to "pussies who need to ride real bikes". He even threatened to "cut my balls off" which I thought illustrated the level of douche baggery this troll is bringing to the table. He claimed to be representing the true BMX scene here in Orlando and was trying his hardest to get some serious shit going between the two groups. This is why I did what I did...
You on the other hand have actually been pretty smart with your comments so feel free to speak your mind. Just do me a favor and stop posting under anonymous. If you click the button labeled Name/URL, you can insert what ever name you want; in essence giving you an identity without actually reveling who you are. This will be helpful because we get a lot of anonymous posters here and by you doing this, it will cut down on the confusion...
Wish I could have gone.
