After riding RyanfromDelands bike on Sunday, I wanted to try out some BMX bars. So far I'm having mixed reactions to them. On one hand I like how my center of gravity has changed and facilitated a few tricks but at the same time barspins have become a bit more painful (I've hit my knee a few times in the process due to the width). I think someone taller would have no issues but I'm afraid these are too wide for me and my current setup.
I'm going to ride them for a few before I decide whether or not I'm reverting back to my old risers. And no I don't want to hear about how "weird" it looks... :)

yo get you some vintage (circa 2002) haro slim bars - it was extremely in style then to run super-narrow bars and these are cuttable even slimmer.
hell i forgot yr a bmx>fixed transitioner too, you might have some of these bolted to your 40lb poverty g-ride.
You know that's not a bad idea. If you come across any during your travels, let me know.
I don't think these are going to work out at all due to the width. They just get in the way too much. The rise is proper though.
As far as how "weird" it looks, I think it look pretty awesome. The functionality of the whole thing still blows my mind.
Kyle sold me some cruiser/expert bars....check with him, he may have another set
