Ace Metric has Moved

Many of you have heard about the relocation of Ace Metric and now it's a done deal. We're open for business in the new location and we're really stoked on the space and the location itself. Come and check us out at 1018 N. Mills Ave (directly next door to Uncle Lou's).

*We'll be throwing a Grand Reopening Party on Sunday, March 28th- more details to come.

F I X E D F I G H T F O U R!!!

Some race info…
- Ten second head start to those wearing a helmet.

- The race will consist of six checkpoints that can be completed in any order.

- The first person to reach one of the six checkpoints will receive a cash prize at the end.
- Only one cash prize per person. Meaning that if you were first to every checkpoint you would still only get one prize.
- You’ll be given a marking to show you were first at the checkpoint so that the others will know.

- No tasks will be required at the checkpoints (except maybe having to get off your bike to get to the volunteer).

- Staying true to Fixed Fight races in the past, this will be semi-long and super-fast.

- A few prizes will be randomly awarded before the start of the race (more details day of).

- There will be a trick contest after the race. You must register (pay $5) if you didn’t already do so for the race.

- Depending on time and prizes, there will also be a few games of foot down.
- This gives the trick and race challenged attendants a chance at winning something.

- PBR will start flowing after the race. There will be a limited supply and will be offered to those 21+ while it lasts.

A few notes…
- Café Bohemia had their best day of business EVER at last year’s Fixed Fight. I’d appreciate everyone’s support again this year. They’re opening up their business to us and the least we can do is buy specially priced food and/or beer while there. Vegan, Vegetarian, and Carnivorous friendly menu available.

- Awards will be given to top finishers on fixed gear bikes. If you came in first on a multi-geared or freewheel single speed you will not be considered for a top place finish. This is FIXED Fight and you will be awarded as such. Brakes are fine and in most cases encouraged. All bikes are welcome and even those non-fixed bikes have a chance at other prizes.

- The HorroH.com/alleycat website will soon be updated with all of this info.

- Last year we came within a few people of having 200 registered racers. Get out to the race and spread that flier so we can exceed 200 this year!!!

- Above all else, be safe during the event. Extreme recklessness that puts you, another racer, or anyone else in harm’s way will get you immediately tossed from the race.

RVA TRICK JAM EDIT FROM RVAFIXED

Here is the first video from the jam that Antimo, Jeremy, Summer, and I drove up to Richmond, Va for. The weekend was a total success and we all had a blast. Big tricks were thrown down and even lit a fire under my own ass. A big thank you and "+1" to all the sponsors, coordinators(mike, phil, trick track) for all the crazy antics that went down as well as the sweet prizes i went home with. For some reason this video has no sound but put your own jams to it and BAM!

Stay tuned for what is looking like to be a sought after, crisp and fresh "407inRVA" edit that our wonderful Antimo Ponticello is putting together, as well as a write up on the whole weekend.

respect my authority

This was all about making an example out of someone and not about enforcing the law. Especially telling is how he continued to selectively pick out laws and throw out threats of arrest in order to get the camera guy to shut up and stop questioning. A great example of why no one wants to step up and work with OPD on the CM ride...
